KIOGE-2022

At the end of September, the 28th International Exhibition and Conference KIOGE-2022 was held in Almaty. The event traditionally attracted thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibiting companies. West Dala visited the main KIOGE-2022 venues to learn about the new entrants and to present our company's services.

One of the important topics of the conference, where new scenarios for the development of Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry were considered, was the discussion of the implementation of ESG principles. Notably, an article in the September issue of Oil&Gas Kazakhstan magazine, with an opinion piece by Dias Khabiyev, West Dala's director of corporate development, deals with the same subject. In the pages of a respected industry magazine, he shared ideas on how to speed up the ESG implementation process. This issue of the magazine was distributed to all exhibitors and conference participants.

Also worthy of note at KIOGE-2022 was the annual meeting of members of The Association of oil service companies of Kazakhstan which was attended by representatives of West Dala. The meeting summarised the 2022 results and discussed the current issues facing oil service companies in 2023.
