"Kaizen" Seminar

West Dala, LLP take a participation in the seminar of implement the system for submission of proposals on improvement of production and administrative processes – Kaizen, which find a successful realization in the company and provide a significant economic benefits. Kaizen consists of two hieroglyphs: “KAI” means “change” and “ZEN” means “for the better”, and together they are translated as “continuous improvement”.

Kaizen it is one of the approaches to improve the performance of the organization. This term was originated in Japan and became to denote the system of interconnected actions that leading to quality improvement and system of management. In the modern sense, Kaizen it is a system of continuous quality improvement, technologies, processes, company culture, labor productivity, reliability, leadership, and other aspects of the Company.

The main Kaizen focus in aims at the staff “quality”, because the quality of the services depends on the staff. This system involves the process of improving each employee – from the top management to the simple employee.

Each employee of the organization offers a small improvement on the regular basis. Offers are not made occasionally in the course of a month or year, but always. For the most part they aren’t global, but they are only a minor improvement. This is the point of Kaizen system – a large number of small, minor improvements leads to a significant quality improvement.

The suggestions for the improvement which employees are make cannot be limited in a specific area, for example, production or marketing. Kaizen is based on a making changes anywhere where you can make the improvements.

Many companies are looking the funds for modernization the production, but often these tools are located within the companies. There are rationalization proposals, and there is Kaizen proposals that also help to make cost-cutting and improve the quality, but do not require a large investment on realization. We are ready to follow to the Kaizen system, we always have a positive attitude to the ideas and suggestions of our employees, because they determine the production standards of our company.

A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.

The “Innovative Ideas” competition was held in the Atyrau Region to support talented youth and develop their scientific research and inventive potential. Specialists from West Dala — environmental engineer Aigul Sagiyeva and chief technologist Minara Massalimova — were invited to serve as members of the jury.

Employees of West Dala joined the environmental campaign organized by the Department of Ecology of the Mangystau Region to clean the territory of Aktau city. They also supported the initiative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Atyrau Region by participating in the clean-up and improvement of Victory Park in Atyrau city.

From 20:30 to 21:30, the Earth Hour International Environmental Action took place to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to nature and the resources of the planet. This year, Earth Hour in Kazakhstan is dedicated to the theme of nature conservation in the country.

The warmth of this month helped strengthen social ties and energize them for new beginnings after the winter.
