The spring floods in Atyrau region posed a challenge for all the residents. The emergency situation left no one indifferent: many Kazakhstani companies, including West Dala LLP, assisted the state in mitigating the consequences of this natural disaster.

Last week, in Atyrau’s “Otbasy” park, an initiative by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Regulation led to the planting of trees as part of the national campaign “Taza Kazakhstan.” Most of those who attended the event were employees from the oil and gas industry. Volunteers from West Dala, along with other participants, planted 1,000 ash and fruit tree saplings in place of the green areas that were lost during the floods.

The seminar “Local Content in Goods: Strategic Development of the Country and Industry,” organized by the KazService Union of Oil Service Companies in partnership with Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) and took place on October 11 in Atyrau city. It served as a platform for engaging domestic manufacturers in the company’s major projects. More than 160 participants from over 50 enterprises attended the event.

At the largest Forum in Central Asia on waste management and recycling, “Green Energy & Waste Recycling” (GEWR), the ideas, successful experiences, and the best technologies for disposal and recycling of industrial and consumer wastes were discussed.
