A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.
The beginning of this year was a landmark for West Dala, as it was able to become one of the contractor organizations for the FGP / WPMP project of Tengizchevroil, LLP. This project is of national importance and is the next stage of expansion of production capacity at the Tengiz field.
The FGP / WPMP project is carried out at the production sites of various degrees of danger, and therefore all specialists of enterprises first of all must comply with the requirements of the CHESM safety regulations.
According to the results of the first works of West Dala on this project, the heads of departments, safety engineering department together with the management of the company identified those employees who performed their work safely, without violations and taking care of their colleagues.
The company decided to thank and encourage the best employees of the project by holding the award ceremony with letters of appreciation, material and cash gifts. Project employees were awarded in two nominations:
