Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is one of the important priorities in the work of NCOC N.V. and its partners. In June, the company held an awards ceremony to recognize activists for their tremendous contributions, commitment, and dedication, which have become indispensable support for the NCOC N.V. HSE team. A Letter of Appreciation signed by the Head of the HSE Department of NCOC N.V. Ualikhan Zhanaissov was awarded to Yerbolat Izimov, HSE Engineer of West Dala, Bautino Base Project.

It is important to note that West Dala achieved "zero" indicators in the following categories in 2022: “Total recordable incident rate”, “Number of fatalities”, “Number of work-related fatalities resulting in injury with temporary disability”, “Number of occupational disease cases”, “Work-related incidents”.

We thank NCOC N.V. for its appreciation of the work and congratulate the whole HSE team of West Dala, Bautino Base Project for their excellent HSE performance!

A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.

The “Innovative Ideas” competition was held in the Atyrau Region to support talented youth and develop their scientific research and inventive potential. Specialists from West Dala — environmental engineer Aigul Sagiyeva and chief technologist Minara Massalimova — were invited to serve as members of the jury.

Employees of West Dala joined the environmental campaign organized by the Department of Ecology of the Mangystau Region to clean the territory of Aktau city. They also supported the initiative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Atyrau Region by participating in the clean-up and improvement of Victory Park in Atyrau city.

From 20:30 to 21:30, the Earth Hour International Environmental Action took place to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to nature and the resources of the planet. This year, Earth Hour in Kazakhstan is dedicated to the theme of nature conservation in the country.

The warmth of this month helped strengthen social ties and energize them for new beginnings after the winter.
