Safety First!

Labor Safety Day at West Dala's office was the highlight of last week. On June 28, during a meeting at the company’s headquarter, General Director Kairat Salakhadenov congratulated the West Dala Team on achieving "500 days without a lost-time incident," emphasizing the importance of following all safety rules in the workplace. Bagdat Duisebayev, Head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, reviewed the department's activities and shared plans to improve the company's safety culture.

All meeting participants took part in an online quiz with questions on labor safety. It turned out that the expert on this topic is Gulmira Yermasheva, Head of the Production Department at West Dala.

Part of the meeting included awarding 73 volunteers for flood prevention activities, who built protective structures and manually moved sandbags at Black River around the WMF and Integrated Landfill. For their activity and hard work, the volunteers were awarded honorary certificates and commemorative souvenirs. The most exciting part of the meeting was announcing the winners of the children's drawing contest on the topic of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment). According to the jury's decision, the places were distributed as follows: 1st place – Meirambekkyzy Aigerim, 2nd place – Izbergen Kamilla, 3rd place – Salauat Aisulu, 4th place – Meirambekkyzy Nuriya, 5th place – Zhakyp Zhannur. The jury also awarded four incentive prizes to contest participants Aibolat Nurai, Pamir Nazym, Katatqali Miras, and Ruslan Darina. All the children are talented and received certificates from the "Marwin" store ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 tenge.

The creative works of the contest participants will serve as a vivid reminder of the importance of adhering to safety rules!
