RISK MANAGEMENT

In July, a training session on “Risk Management” was held as part of implementing the recommendations following the ISM recertification audit.

The training was attended by 16 employees of West Dala, including department heads and production site managers.
Intertek representative — Sanym Willmot — spoke about work planning and risk identification in production processes, as well as ways to reduce overall business risks through conscious risk management.

Zhanbolat Yelubayev, Head of the Compliance Department:
— The seminar ensured a unified understanding of the approaches to planning, assessing, and mitigating risks at the departmental level. All managers were introduced to best practices in risk assessment and management, as well as ISO 31000 standards. This laid the foundation for the systematic integration of risk management into daily operations.

West Dala has become a new member of the Italian–Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK).

Based on the results of the most recent CHESM assessment (Contractor Health, Environment, Safety, and Management System), conducted by its Strategic Partner Tengizchevroil LLP, West Dala has successfully confirmed its high-performance level and achieved the highest rating — Grade A (96%).

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.
