"POETRY OF SAFETY"

West Dala Employees on FGP-WPMP have been actively participating in all the measures within “Incident and Injury Free” (IIF) program introduced in TCO aiming at arranging occupational health and safety. West Dala Employees’ achievements are always distinguished by TCO. Thus, in July of this year, West Dala employee Nurtazin Assylbek’s poem was published in IIF newspaper as one of the best among those presented at IIF creative competition. We congratulate the author and all the West Dala employees who brought their talents to light and gave us the opportunity to know of everyday work at Tengiz!

 

We are also awaiting the results of the TCO competition for the creation of a single logo for IIF among business partners. West Dala employee Bauyrzhan Kashkenov sent 6 high-quality logos to this competition. The logos symbolize the commitment to the principles of safe work of the entire team of workers on the FGP-WPMP project.

West Dala has become a new member of the Italian–Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK).

Based on the results of the most recent CHESM assessment (Contractor Health, Environment, Safety, and Management System), conducted by its Strategic Partner Tengizchevroil LLP, West Dala has successfully confirmed its high-performance level and achieved the highest rating — Grade A (96%).

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.
