High-Level Occupational Safety in Mangystau
A fieldwork meeting with the top management of West Dala LLP was held in Aktau to discuss the annual results and production plans for WMF Koshanai, WMF Uzen, and the Bautino project in the near future. As part of the trip, a ceremonial event was held to honor contributions to the development of occupational safety culture based on the results of the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2024. Drivers were recognized for their impeccable adherence to traffic safety rules, and employees were acknowledged for submitting safety observation sheets, which helped improve workplace safety levels. In the Mangystau region, a total of 32 employees from the company and its contractors were honored with Certificates of Appreciation and commemorative gifts for their achievements in safety and occupational health:
- 22 employees from WMF Koshanai were awarded.
- 4 employees from the Bautino project.
- 6 employees from WMF Uzen.

Everyone must return home safe and sound.’ As of today, the company has achieved 658 days without work-related injuries. Now, our goal is to reach 1,000 days! This is achievable: any incident can be prevented.”
