LET'S SAVE NATURE TOGETHER!

As you may remember, we covered the “LET’S SAVE NATURE TOGETHER!” clean-up marathon at Tengiz WMF, Prorva WMF and Uzen WMF. This time the environmental baton was picked up by the Waste Management Facility employees. The clean-up was started by a friendly team of engineering staff, employees of Transport department, Facility Management department, Management Systems, Operations. Mostly the clean-up was carried out in the surrounding area. During the clean-up event, 8 bags of waste from plastic bottles, plastic bags, wood waste, and scrap metal were collected. All waste was segregated by type and sent for further recycling and disposal. The baton from the Waste Management Facility was passed to Integrated Landfill! Follow our updates!

West Dala has become a new member of the Italian–Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK).

Based on the results of the most recent CHESM assessment (Contractor Health, Environment, Safety, and Management System), conducted by its Strategic Partner Tengizchevroil LLP, West Dala has successfully confirmed its high-performance level and achieved the highest rating — Grade A (96%).

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.
