LABOR PROTECTION DAY!

Today is a World Day for Safety and Health at Work! On the eve of this important day, West Dala LLP launched the “Training is Vital” Occupational Safety Program 2025, dedicated to the company’s 20th anniversary.

On April 24, during a general meeting, Kairat Salakhadenov, General Director of West Dala LLP, congratulated the team on achieving a significant milestone — 800 days without a lost-time injury. He expressed his gratitude to the employees for their commitment to a safety culture and announced the launch of the month-long corporate program “Training is Vital.”

In turn, Bagdat Duisebayev, Head of the Industrial Safety and Occupational Health Department at West Dala LLP, presented the results of the HSE management system for 2024 and outlined plans for the current year. As part of the corporate program, he also announced 11 events that started in April and will continue throughout May, including various employee competitions, video addresses, training sessions, and team-building activities. All initiatives are aimed at enhancing the culture of safety and fostering a sustainable attitude towards occupational health as a core company value.

West Dala has become a new member of the Italian–Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK).

Based on the results of the most recent CHESM assessment (Contractor Health, Environment, Safety, and Management System), conducted by its Strategic Partner Tengizchevroil LLP, West Dala has successfully confirmed its high-performance level and achieved the highest rating — Grade A (96%).

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.
