Eco-Partnership Forum

On February 20, the “Eco-Partnership” forum was organized by KPO B.V. During the event, key environmental challenges, the 2024 annual results, and opportunities for further cooperation in environmental protection were discussed.

Anuar Mukiev, Regional Manager of West Dala for the West Kazakhstan Region - "The forum speakers emphasized important aspects for business partners in the development of regulatory documents and the timely identification and notification of changes in the scope and types of work. The meeting also facilitated connections with all representatives of the Client responsible for environmental control at the field site. Overall, the forum left a positive impression and was beneficial for West Dala as a partner of KPO B.V."

Since September last year, a waste management educational program has been implemented at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. West Dala actively participated in the development of this program.

West Dala sponsored the regional openboxing tournament among boys born in 2009–2010 and 2011–2012, dedicated to the memory of public figure Zhalau Mynbaiuly.

West Dala volunteers took part in an environmental campaign organized by the public foundation “Atameken Eco” in the “Otbasy” park.

On January 31, 2025, West Dala successfully completed its work on the FGP Project at Tengiz. Our Partner, TengizchevroilLLP, organized a formal gathering to mark the project’s completion and honored outstanding contractors. Among the top performers was the West Dala Team at Tengiz, which was awarded a silver medal. In the Certificate of Appreciation signed by Richard Morgan, FGP/WPMP Talent Manager, it was noted that this award was given for significant impact and impeccable service.

This year, West Dala facilities once again participated in the international environmental initiative, «Earth Hour.» To support the event, external and internal lighting at WMF, Integrated landfill, Tengiz, Uzen, and Koshanai was turned off for one hour, from 20:30 to 21:30, as a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and responsible resource use.
