FINANCING

On February 24, West Dala colleagues participated in a webinar on financing opportunities for waste recycling and circular economy projects under the GEFF program from the EBRD.

The webinar was attended by members of the KazWaste Association – companies from various regions of Kazakhstan operating in waste recycling, as well as other waste management enterprises, representatives of universities, industrial companies, and other interested organizations.

Participants received information about implemented projects, available support and financing tools, including opportunities to purchase equipment and machinery to increase business efficiency and recycling volumes of materials that meet international and national energy efficiency standards.

Webinar speakers – representatives of the GEFF program, Bank CenterCredit, and BCC Leasing – presented their presentations and conducted a “Q&A” session with participants, providing additional practical information on obtaining consulting support, possibilities of combining financing with government programs, and facilitating connections among interested parties.

The event was organized by the KazWaste Association and continued the cooperation between the Association and the GEFF program under the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding.

We thank the organizers for the informative dialogue and the opportunity to expand knowledge about financing mechanisms for environmental projects.
