EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMM

Today is Environmental Knowledge Day — an important occasion to reflect on the role of education in preserving our planet. This day was established in 1992 at a UN conference, where the importance of environmental literacy was first emphasized at the international level. It is especially important to spread such knowledge among young people — those who will soon be making decisions and influencing the development of society.

Since September last year, a waste management educational program has been implemented at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. West Dala actively participated in the development of this program. This week, we visited the university to observe how the classes are being conducted. Our partner, Mansiya Sanakovna Yesenamanova, Head of the “Ecology” Department at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and PhD in Technical Sciences, shared insights into the creation and implementation of the program to date. We are pleased to see the program in action: students are engaged, instructors are sharing their expertise, and the topic of waste management is becoming an integral part of the educational process.

In the year of our company’s 20th anniversary, we are pleased to note the continued growth of the educational program we support at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. Ecology students are learning not only core subjects, but also approaches to effective waste management and environmental protection.
