“EcoTech 2015″

As part of the 11th Central Asian International exhibition-forum on environmental technologies, waste management, industrial water treatment and “green” innovations EcoTech 2015:

  • Experts discussed issues of reforming the sector of waste management in connection with proposed changes and additions to the legislation of Republic of Kazakhstan, the current state of the recycling industry, extended producer responsibility, energy from waste.
  • Expositions introduced the products and services for disposal of tires, waste containers and systems for the collection and sorting of raw materials, equipment for water and waste water treatment, micro, ultra and nanofiltration membranes and modules, materials and equipment for air pollution control, production and use of biogas, mapping of environmental risks, installation gas-cylinder equipment and much more.

Participants of EcoTech 2015 are the following: Department of Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control of Astana; Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises; Kazakhstan Association of  Sustainable Development; «KazWaste» Association; “Tengizchevroil” LLP; EBRD; GRATA, UNDP; The exhibition presented 33 companies from Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Taiwan, and Czech Republic.

West Dala was presented at the banner of «KazWaste» Association. Also brochures and flyers of the company were distributed to the visitors.

A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.

The “Innovative Ideas” competition was held in the Atyrau Region to support talented youth and develop their scientific research and inventive potential. Specialists from West Dala — environmental engineer Aigul Sagiyeva and chief technologist Minara Massalimova — were invited to serve as members of the jury.
