ECOLOGIST’S DAY

Caring for the environment is the business of every citizen of the conscious age of our planet, and the work in West Dala doubles the obligation on all employees to protect the environment, as we can make a tangible contribution in this direction.

June 5, Department of Ecology organized the event and with the help of competitions tried to make a contribution of development of environmental protection in the company. Competitions were held among colleagues, as well as their preschool and younger children.

Nominations and results of competitions:

1. Competition of artists on the nomination “Save Nature” for the children:

The category of children aged 5-7 years:

  • 1st place – Askar Anel Nurhatzyzy
  • 2nd place – Zarifova Sulu
  • 3rd place – Nurhatzyzy Anel, Shkola Kira

The category of children aged 8-9 years:

2. Competition of crafts made of natural material “Crazy Hands” among the office staff:

3. Competition “Waste Rebirth” among all employees of the company, except for office staff:

The charge that was received at the event will give impetus to all employees, both mental and manual, and our thoughts and actions will be aimed at making us even more able to instill in children love for nature, try to minimize waste generation, and reuse them.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.

West Dala joined the United Nations Global Compact — the world’s largest international initiative for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility — in 2023.

This year, West Dala held a series of events dedicated to its 20th anniversary. However, no anniversary is complete without a proper celebration, so on December 5, at our business evening, we celebrated the company’s milestone together with colleagues, partners, and clients who have shared this journey with us. Around 100 guests gathered at the N. U. Balgimbayev Communication Development Center to reflect on how it all began and to honor our achievements.
