CONFERENCE

On the eve of World Environment Day, the conference was held in Aktau city. The participants of this event were Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan -Brekeshev Serikkali Amangaliyevich, Akim of Mangistau region - Nogayev Nurlan Askarovich, UNDP in Kazakhstan - Yakup Berish. The representatives of 180 Kazakhstani enterprises and international organizations discussed the environmental regulation and monitoring in this conference. West Dala employees also took a participation - Deputy General Director for the Mangistau region - Dastan Aidarkhanov and chief environmental specialist - Aizhan Dzhanbirbayeva.

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.

West Dala joined the United Nations Global Compact — the world’s largest international initiative for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility — in 2023.

This year, West Dala held a series of events dedicated to its 20th anniversary. However, no anniversary is complete without a proper celebration, so on December 5, at our business evening, we celebrated the company’s milestone together with colleagues, partners, and clients who have shared this journey with us. Around 100 guests gathered at the N. U. Balgimbayev Communication Development Center to reflect on how it all began and to honor our achievements.
