CHESM FORUM 2017

On May 4, 2017, Tengiz hosted the annual forum for TCO contractors on the theme: “Preventing serious injuries and fatalities: Verification and Validation”. CHESM Forum-2017 has become an excellent platform for acquaintance with current and prospective novelties, researching market, meeting with specialists from various regions of Kazakhstan and abroad, demonstrating various aspects of ensuring the maximum safe life of the people. Keeping the best traditions of the past, and caring about the future, each company sought to make its contribution to the effective cooperation.

West Dala LLP took an active part at this forum with the theme: “Demonstration of verification the key security measure of vacuum machines of the “VU” category.

Company Representatives demonstrated to the participant verification the key safety measures for the operation of vacuum machines on the example of a VU machine category, Man Ecovac. The main purpose of the demonstration was to prevent serious injuries and fatalities. Namely it is visually demonstrated the check of the vehicle before the departure to the site and the inspection of the vehicle immediately before the execution of works in 2 stages:

  • Stage 1 – Check of the transport and the crew before departure;
  • Step 2 – Check the transport before starting work.

During the demonstration, participants were invited to take part in the quiz, where participants had to find the mistakes and for the correct answers the memorable incentive prizes were awarded at the company’s stand.

LLP “West Dala” operates on the principle that the accidents and the incidents can always be prevented!

The company has its own internal policy and management system in the field of HSE, and also constantly introduces the recommendations of customers in the field of TB, which contributes to obtaining good safety indicators and zero loss of working hours from incidents.

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.

West Dala joined the United Nations Global Compact — the world’s largest international initiative for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility — in 2023.

This year, West Dala held a series of events dedicated to its 20th anniversary. However, no anniversary is complete without a proper celebration, so on December 5, at our business evening, we celebrated the company’s milestone together with colleagues, partners, and clients who have shared this journey with us. Around 100 guests gathered at the N. U. Balgimbayev Communication Development Center to reflect on how it all began and to honor our achievements.
