West Dala is assigned a “Grade A"

An important part of the evaluation of Tengizchevroil (TCO) contractor companies is the completion of a CHESM audit, which verifies the process of managing health, safety and environmental issues.

West Dala received a 98% out of a possible 100 in the April 4, 2022 audit of the CHESM audit. We are the second TCO business partner of all contractors who received such a high rating in the last three years. West Dala is assigned a “Grade A" as a result of the audit.

All employees involved in the project were congratulated by Kairat Salakhadenov, General Director of West Dala, LLP: «It is not an accidental success, but a real implementation and fulfilment of all the necessary requirements. It is hard to defend your title and stay on top of it, as life shows. But it is doable, colleagues, if we continue to advance the company's policy in this direction with unity and confidence. For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.

West Dala joined the United Nations Global Compact — the world’s largest international initiative for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility — in 2023.

This year, West Dala held a series of events dedicated to its 20th anniversary. However, no anniversary is complete without a proper celebration, so on December 5, at our business evening, we celebrated the company’s milestone together with colleagues, partners, and clients who have shared this journey with us. Around 100 guests gathered at the N. U. Balgimbayev Communication Development Center to reflect on how it all began and to honor our achievements.
