West Dala has turned 18 years old! All this time we have made a great contribution to the establishment of waste management and care for the region's environment. For 18 years we have accumulated invaluable professional experience and gathered a large team of like-minded people. On behalf of the founders and on his own behalf, General Director Kairat Salakhadenov thanked all employees for their well-coordinated and hard work for the development of West Dala.

Employees with more than 10 years of experience and more than 15 years with the company were recognized in honor of the 18th anniversary. More than 90 people were awarded letters of appreciation at ceremonial meetings at the headquarters, WMF and Integrated Landfill for waste treatment and disposal facility! Their dedication and belief in the company has certainly helped strengthen West Dala's position with business partners and in the professional marketplace!

A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.

The “Innovative Ideas” competition was held in the Atyrau Region to support talented youth and develop their scientific research and inventive potential. Specialists from West Dala — environmental engineer Aigul Sagiyeva and chief technologist Minara Massalimova — were invited to serve as members of the jury.

Employees of West Dala joined the environmental campaign organized by the Department of Ecology of the Mangystau Region to clean the territory of Aktau city. They also supported the initiative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Atyrau Region by participating in the clean-up and improvement of Victory Park in Atyrau city.

From 20:30 to 21:30, the Earth Hour International Environmental Action took place to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to nature and the resources of the planet. This year, Earth Hour in Kazakhstan is dedicated to the theme of nature conservation in the country.

The warmth of this month helped strengthen social ties and energize them for new beginnings after the winter.
