AWARDING

In July, at the monthly Business Partner Safety meeting, at Crude Tank Farm (CTF) facility, West Dala employees were recognized with gifts and certificates for safe work, excellent competence and good safety knowledge.

The company was honored with this high rating following a safety audit conducted by TCO. During the audit, all technical services involved were inspected, and the competence and safety knowledge of the company's employees were assessed. Following the HSE audit, the West Dala Safety Specialist and Coordinator successfully demonstrated a presentation of the activity to customers at the HSE Roundtable meeting at the work sites.

Also on July 4, West Dala FGP drivers were honored by TCO MVS (Motor Vehicle Safety) for a certain maximum mileage without a violation for a period of six months. The following drivers received gifts and certificates:

  • Nurzhan Yermekbayev
  • Samat Sariyev
  • Talgat Orynbassarov
  • Galimzhan Kazymbetov

The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev called the floods in Kazakhstan as a worst natural disaster in the last 80 years. At the beginning of April, a state of emergency was in effect in 10 of the 17 regions of Kazakhstan, including in the Atyrau region:

West Dala's driver, Rishat Imashev, was featured at the quarterly Drivers Forum organized by NCOC due to his high performance on IVMS reports and commitment to safe driving.

West Dala completed the participation in the SDG Ambition program, an educational course developed by UN experts to integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the strategic and operational activities of the companies.
