The Department of Ecology of Atyrau Region held a working meeting with first-category enterprises. The agenda included discussions on reducing atmospheric emissions, decreasing the overall environmental impact, and exploring prospects for the implementation of Best Available Techniques (BAT) at regional industrial facilities.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of corporate environmental responsibility and the gradual transition toward more sustainable and safer production solutions. As part of the meeting, an award ceremony was held in honor of Ecologist Day. A letter of appreciation from the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented to Ainaǵul Naurzbayeva, Chief Ecologist of West Dala LLP.

West Dala has become a new member of the Italian–Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK).

Based on the results of the most recent CHESM assessment (Contractor Health, Environment, Safety, and Management System), conducted by its Strategic Partner Tengizchevroil LLP, West Dala has successfully confirmed its high-performance level and achieved the highest rating — Grade A (96%).

For the third consecutive year, West Dala has been conducting the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the international standard (GHG Protocol) and the requirements of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.
