SERVICE

Potable Water Supply and Transportation

Among the relatively new services provided by West Dala is potable water supply and transportation used for sanitary and hygienic needs. The company is now providing this service at Tengizchevroil FGP-WPMP.

"All water trucks' tankers, including new ones, are cleaned, washed and then disinfected, according to an approved schedule, at least once a quarter. After washing and cleaning, we send water samples to the TCO laboratory and continue our work only after receiving the Compliance Protocol," explains Yerzat Tuyakbayev, Head of West Dala Health Protection Service. The company's sanitary doctor supervises the timely proper cleaning and disinfection of truck tanks, hoses, pumps, and pipes, as well as sampling. He is also responsible for medical examinations of the crew of water trucks and disinfection workers. Each of them is obliged to have a sanitary book. The water truck crew, consisting of the driver and his assistant, is provided with coveralls for work during filling and draining of water during disinfection.

It is important to note that West Dala takes a very responsible approach to the disposal of liquids generated after water truck treatment. Waste is discharged into the tanks at the Waste Management Complex (WMC) and then transported to the wastewater treatment plant.
